
Frederick Schlick (tenor), praised for his “tender power” (Opera Wire), is a New York City–based performer recognized for his expressive lyricism and dynamic stage presence. Frederick recently appeared off-Broadway in the new musical Bone Wars, premiering the roles of Buffalo Bill and Bronto the Brontosaurus, Notable credits include La bohème (Rodolfo), Donizetti’s Anna Bolena (Percy), L’elisir d’amore (Nemorino), La Tragédie de Carmen (Don José), and Die Fledermaus (Alfred).

American-Canadian soprano Suzannah Waddington, praised for her “bright, penetrating soprano,” (Opera News) is a graduate of the Cafritz Young Artist program with Washington National Opera. Highlights of her Kennedy Center residence include Carmen (Frasquita) and Written in Stone (The Monument). Other selected opera credits include Charlotte Corday in the world premiere of Les Girondines (Wilmington Concert Opera) and Bakbak in Loksi’ Shaali (Wilmington Concert Opera). Soli Deo Gloria.

Tom Sitzler is recognized for his rich, sonorous baritone and compelling stage presence. He has performed in roles including Scarpia in Tosca, Germont in La traviata, and Escamillo in Carmen. Recent engagements include the world premiere of Observatory, a new oratorio by David Brown, and Kenny Kinkaid in The Cookoff with Hub City Opera. He has also been praised for his performance in the title role of The Boor with Gateway Opera, where critics noted both his vocal strength and comic timing.

Fetterman has been praised for her “lovely lyric soprano voice” and is an Engagement Artist with Finger Lakes Opera. She will portray Young Viardot in Michael Ching’s, Notes On Viardot (Buffalo Opera Unlimited). Other credits include La Traviata (Violetta, Act 1), Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro (Susanna) and Bea in an “entirely grossing” production of Jake Heggie’s Three Decembers. She was a recipient of an Encouragement award from the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition Utah District (‘24).

Connor McLaughlin (Schaunard) is a local performer who you may recall appearing as Schaumbacher in These Hills and Valleys (Berks Opera), Dametas in Head Over Heels (Yocum), Jan in Small Mouth Sounds (Laconia), and the various musically inclined animal roles where Berks Opera Company and Yocum Institute combined efforts to bring the sounds of the opera to the Children of Berks County! He hopes he can embody the music of Giacomo Puccini and give you a spectacular show. Buon spettacolo a tutti!

John T.K. Scherch is a Philadelphia-based bass described as “outstanding and resonant” and “sepulchral and frightening”. Selected credits include Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte (Sarastro), Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia (Don Basilio), Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Tsar’s Bride (Sobakin), and Weill’s Street Scene (Frank Maurrant). He is also the morning host on WRTI; his show includes a diverse selection of classical music and the famous Sousalarm, Breakfast with Bach, and a new feature: Casual Fridays.

Baritone Steven Condy is celebrated for his portrayals. The Washington Times praised his “comic timing of Jon Candy and a voice that remains flexible, rich and true through every intricacy.” Highlights of his career include appearances with The Metropolitan Opera in Gianni Schicchi and La bohème. Other prominent roles include Dr. Bartolo in Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia, Verdi’s Falstaff, Don Magnifico in Rossini’s La cenerentola, and the title role in Donizetti’s Don Pasquale.

Known to some as the "Strongest Tenor in the World," Matt has been a presence on opera and concert stages across the Mid-Atlantic region for over 30 years including Berks Opera, Opera Lancaster and Penn Square Opera, and Wilmington Concert Opera companies.
Matt has taken part in newer works including Berks Opera's Da Ponte, These Valleys and Mountains, and Sanctuary Road. Other roles include Franz and Andre from Tales of Hoffman, Parpignol in La Boheme, and Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni.
