Berks Opera fills a gap in the cultural offerings available to the Greater Reading audience and the regional community by providing live opera, and provide opportunities for young and local singers to practice their art. We work with Olivet's PAL Center for the Arts (Reading, PA) for grant funded youth performances. Thank you to United Way, Richard, Brianna, Olivet's staff, Cocol Bernal and Lars Potteiger!

Each year Berks Opera Company collaborates with Yocum Institute for Arts Education and The Miller Center for the Arts at RACC to put on a children's opera that draws crowds of families as well as provides educational and exciting field trips for school classes.
Feeney Historic Mansion and Gardens are a splendid setting for afternoons featuring young singers, wine tastings with Marc Supsic and delicious food. We collaborate closely with Albright College, whose students perform with us in one production a year. Berks Opera provides vocal and musical training for the cast, stage direction, sets, costumes, props, a chamber orchestra, musical direction, and is generally responsible for the overall production.
